Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has endorsed the following post graduate non degree program to students in its bid to further learning in the dynamic industry of information technology. They will be eligible for UP’s one year IT training program with offers of scholarship grants to students with high aptitude levels.

UPITTC provides a well designed curriculum, top notch facilities, proficient instructors and solid support from the UP and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) which might increase the probability of being considered for employment in IT companies abroad.

In addition, UP ITTC ties up with IT industry partners who offer full scholarship grants to full-time students. Among the said companies are Cisco Incorporated, Fujitso Philippines, Microsoft Philippines, Sun Microsystems, Java Education and Development Initiative (JEDI), HeadStart Business Solutions, NEC Telecom, Trend Micro and Systems Incorporated.

The one year certificate course will likely secure the graduate more employment opportunities in the IT industry as well as being offered sponsorships of UP ITTC events.

The examination was conducted at Lorma Colleges last February 25, 2011 with seven UPITTC personnel from Manila administering it to the students.
